[Azul is quite happy to accept the nuzzle in place of a verbal response. His head dips slightly to increase the contact.

There's a soft, thoughtful hum at the question, followed by a few seconds of silence.]

There's many reasons. I like the feel and weight of you in my arms; it brings me to the present in the best way, and redoubles my feelings of you being mine.

It makes me happy that you allow me to do this, whether it doesn't threaten your pride or you consider it worth the trade-off.

And it makes me even happier that you enjoy it. Which now begs the return question: why do you?

[He closes his eyes, enjoying the sound of Azul's voice, as well as the words. There's a pleasant feeling over the "you being mine" part, too, and he doesn't bother stopping his thoughts from wandering for a bit.

Once he notes that he's been asked a question, he lets out a quiet, very drawn out hum. Softly:]

I just always like your arms around me.

[There's a gentle chuckle, and he brushes his lips over Jamil's head.]

I do, as well.

[When they get to the room, he opens the door with an elbow and moves inside, shutting the door behind him with a foot.

As he draws near the bed:]

Alas, it seems your time being carried by me is coming to an end. [Truly a tragedy.]

[He lets out a blatantly fake gasp... and then grins.]

So tragic... Unless you find another way to keep your arms around me~

[A sly look comes to Azul's face.]

You mean like... this?

[Suddenly, he takes off away from the bed, jumps, then transforms midair and splashes down in the pool. He makes sure to jump somewhere in the midpoint so that Jamil's head would be well clear of the water, but there's definitely no avoiding the splash.]
